Smoky River F.C.S.S. is looking for a Program Coordinator

An exciting opportunity exists for a reponsible, self motivated, innovative, energetic individual

Responsibilities:

Initiate and facilitate programs in response to identified needs 

Act as a resource for Youth, Families and Seniors in the Smoky River Region   

Encourage coordination of activities amongst various groups

This position offers part-time/full-time flexibility determined upon the programs that are developped.

Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Good organizational and public relations skills 

Experience working with Youth, Families and Seniors   

Must possess a valid driver's license and have own vehicle 

Basic Computer knowledge (email, letters, newsletter, web browsing, social media etc.)   

Bilingual (English/French) would be considered a definite asset.

Smoky River F.C.S.S. is a partnership between the provincial government and the five municipalities in our region (MD of Smoky River, Town of McLennan, Town of Falher, Village of Donnelly and Village of Girouxville).

We run many programs, project and activities that assist us in meeting our goals. Our program provides services for all ages.

We provide referrals to government and non-government agencies to match people with the services they need. We also have two lending resource librairies with materials on a variety of self-improvement and parenting skills.

In addition to working with all levels of government, we partner with a number of other groups, organizations and associations to bring programs and services to our region.
